An organized desk makes a space work productive. Therefore it is no surprise that the work slows down when the clips, pens and reminders are scattered across the surface of work. However, you need not blow your budget on a prefabricated desk organizer. Combining materials recycled cardboard with a few supplies and a little ingenuity to the old; you can make your own cardboard desktop organizer in less time than it takes to go to the store for supplies.
- Cut a flat, rigid piece of cardboard that is the basis of the desk organizer. Determine the size and shape of the base depending on the amount of space available to place on the desktop organizer and how much you want to fit into it.
- Cut a roll of paper towels, empty six inches (15 cm) long and two pieces three inches long. Remove the top of a tissue box empty cutting around the top with scissors.
- Decorate each piece organizer before proceeding with assembly. Wrap the pieces of cardboard rolls and a tissue box with colored construction paper.
- Arrange each object of the base piece of cardboard and desk organizer. Place the cardboard dividers separated enough to enter objects like staplers or adhesives reminders.
